Very Reverend Fr. Nabil HADDAD is Founder and CEO of Jordanian Interfaith Coexistence Research Center (www.coexistencejordan.org), Jordan. As an Arab Christian. Fr. Haddad has worked as a peace activist for over twenty five years serving human rights and worked extensively on issues of tolerance, coexistence, religious freedom, interfaith dialogue, human rights, and minorities in the Middle East. He has been able to elevate both the moderate voice of Islam along with the Arab Christian voice in the Arab world to the international arena of debate. In 2011 he was appointed Secretary General of the Arab Group Against Emigration of Arab Christians. In the same year he became member of the National Dialogue Committee. In 2004 he was elected chairman of the Greek Catholic Welfare Society. Additionally he is member of the Faith Group, World Economic Forum and patron to the Coexistence Trust, London. Fr. Haddad was Chairperson of the Justice, Peace and Human Rights Committee, Middle East Council of Churches as well as Director General of Caritas Jordan. He also was member of The Royal Commission for Human Rights from 2000 until 2002.
